What is Anthrax?


Anthrax, scientifically known as Bacillus anthracis, is a serious, rod-shaped bacteria that can be found in soil and commonly in animals around the world.

What happens when Anthrax is in the body?


When a human or animal is infected with Anthrax, many deadly toxins are then released into them, causing the result of severe illnesses.

Is Anthrax contagious?


Although Anthrax can infect people and animals through air or water, it is not contagious (infection via physical contact) such as the common flu.
